Abstract
The United Kingdom's Minister for Transport announced that 40 schools are set to get tailor-made plans and expert help to set up safe, workable, and cost-effective alternatives to driving to school. The School Travel Advisory Group was established in 1998 to remove the barriers to walking, cycling, or using public transport in making the journey to and from school.
