Abstract
TRB’s Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Report 109: A Guidebook for Developing and Sharing Transit Bus Maintenance Practices provides guidance on how to develop effective transit bus maintenance practices tailored to the local operating environment. The report provides seven sample practices developed using the guidance. Complementing the report is an on-line Web Board sponsored by the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Transit Fleet Maintenance. The report provides instructions on how to access the Web Board, how to use it to develop maintenance practices, and how to share these practices among transit agencies.
