Abstract
This digest provides information pertaining to transit systems' use of various strategies to implement advertising content policies that further the system's reasonable interests and protect free speech rights. The digest is based on a comprehensive review of the prevailing U.S. Appellate and Supreme Court decisions involving First Amendment challenges in the context of transit advertising.
