Abstract
Urban rail transport, which is an efficient and green transportation mode, is bound to become increasingly popular in China. Urban rail network evaluation problem, as a new type of multi-target logic and decision problem, has large theoretical and practical significance. This study illustrated the potential of analytic network process (ANP) in rail network evaluation with multiple objectives. In this paper, the decisions software “Super Decisions” (SD) was applied to solve the problem, which indicates that the ANP method can effectively optimize the multiple targets evaluation process. This method basically solves the rail network evaluation problem in rail planning, especially when the factors are interdependent.
