Abstract
This report explores the next generation of public transit services in medium sized cities. These cities generally have a population of about 50,000 to 250,000 individuals. The mainstay of public transit systems in midsized cities is bus transit. The report focuses on best practices in public transit planning; financing strategies; and possible, projected, or actual outcomes.
